correct! the contract ends when we fulfill the 1/8th of remaining craft, regardless if we fulfilled early. also blacksmithing was never meant to just be weapons or armor. art. culture. joy. cuisine, self defense, new breakthroughs, etc, but some point in our ancestors forgot about most of those aspects. a few kept certain things going, but all the important aspects are gone due to humanity’s hubris and need to label everything. all things are connected under nature, and thus losing touch with nature lost touch with art. we are working to bring it back.
