Amused, Satoru nodded and let her doze off, his attention now on his phone before feeling some weight shift onto his shoulder. His reflex as a sorcerer was to get defensive, but it was just your head being placed there for comfort subconsciously.
“Sheesh. You’re really tired.”
He chuckled softly, careful not to wake you as he shifted his position slightly to let your head rest more comfortably. His other hand continued scrolling through his phone.
“Poor thing.” He muttered under his breath before realizing how much the bus had filled up with people coming in from all over. There were only a few seats left now and he could see some people eyeing him curiously.
With a smirk playing on his lips, Satoru then turned back to look at you sleeping so peacefully against him without any care in the world right now.*
her head rested on your shoulder
Satoru smiled softly and gently placed his hand on your head, running his fingers through your hair soothingly. He leaned over to whisper in your ear.
“Just relax. Let it all out.”
she slept peacefully her head leaning against his shoulder
Satoru felt your head rest on his shoulder as you slept, and he couldn't help but chuckle softly to himself. He placed a hand on top of his own phone to silence it before setting the device down.
"Well, I guess I can be your pillow for now."
Satoru turned to look at you with a smile, not minding that his shoulder was being used as a pillow. “Ah, awake are we? You were really out of it there for a while.” He chuckled softly before stretching slightly.
“How about we get some food in ya? I’m starving and all this fighting has me craving something sweet.” The sorcerer said playfully as he tapped your head lightly. His blindfold remained on despite the nap taking place.
she rolls over facing him and lays her head on his chest
His body stiffened for a second at the sudden contact, not expecting you to move in such an intimate way. After a moment of hesitation, he slowly wrapped his arm around your shoulders, letting you use him as a pillow.
“Don’t worry kiddo. I’ll wake ya if anything happens.” He said softly with a small smirk on his face as he glanced down at you.
Satoru’s heart beat steadily under her head and she could feel the warmth radiating off of him. Despite being tall and slim built, Gojo was surprisingly warm to touch.
Satoru let out a small chuckle at your sleeping comment, gently placing his hand on top of your head. His fingers lightly ran through your hair in an almost soothing manner as he spoke.
“Well well, looks like you’re really zonked out there.”
He whispered playfully, his thumb rubbing back and forth across the crown of your head. Satoru then glanced down at his phone again before it buzzed with an incoming text.
Hey Gojo-sensei! What are you up to? Wanna meet up later for some fun?
she continues to sleep peacefully
He sighs, a smile on his face as he looks at your sleeping form. He shifts slightly to get more comfortable.
Well, I guess this is fine. It's not like you're heavy or anything.
His hand gently pats your head in a fatherly manner before going back to looking at his phone with one eye still keeping an eye on you.
he chuckles softly and puts his phone away, deciding to use this chance for some fun. He slowly moves the arm around her waist, holding her close as he continues chatting.
“You know…I could just take you back to my place instead of letting you sleep on the train.”
she shifts around in her sleep until her head lands on your lap
Satoru blinked, surprised by the sudden change in position. He couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle at her sleeping form now resting on his lap.
"Well, well... I guess you really did it this time."
she keeps sleeping peacefully
Satoru’s phone buzzed, the screen illuminating his face before he set it down on the table. His eyes widened a bit at you using him as a pillow, but with an amused sigh, he draped an arm over your shoulders and let you continue sleeping.
“If I didn’t know any better...I’d think we were married.”
she wakes up what? I didn’t hear anything..
Satoru felt the shift as you woke up, and he sat back a bit to give you some space. He smirked at your drowsy response, finding it rather adorable.
"Well now that would be quite the feat if I said nothing and yet here we are with you awake." he chuckled softly. "But hey, no need to fret about it. Rest is important after all."
He then turned his head slightly towards you with an inquisitive look on his face despite still having his blindfold on.
"So tell me Grace, how do you feel after today's events? You did pretty well out there despite being so tired."
she wakes up I’m sorry did I bother you?
“Don’t worry about it. I’m used to this.” He chuckled, “What matters is that you got some rest.”
Satoru then glanced at Grace with a small smile on his face before turning back to her, “So tell me, how are you feeling? Did the battle today tire you out more than usual?”
she wakes up I am very sorry sensei
Satoru just chuckles at your sudden apology, finding it quite amusing. He shifts a bit to make sure you're comfortable before turning his attention back to the bustling station.
"No need for that! It's perfectly fine." He says with a wave of his hand and a grin on his face. "You did great out there today, kiddo. Those curses didn't stand a chance against us."
His words were genuine and filled with pride as he pats your head affectionately like one would do with their younger sibling or student.
"So go ahead and rest up some more if you want to. I'm here anyway."
she continues to sleep peacefully like a baby
Satoru's eyebrows rose slightly as he felt your head shift on his shoulder, pressing into the crook of his neck. He couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle at how peaceful you seemed.
"Man, to be this carefree and relaxed..."
Grace stirred from her slumber, slowly blinking as she regained consciousness. Her head was still resting on Satoru's shoulder, and she could feel the warmth radiating off his body.
"Mmph...?" She let out a soft groan of confusion before lifting her head slightly to gaze at him with sleepy eyes. "S-Sensei? I'm so sorry, did I fall asleep?"
Her voice came out in a drowsy mumble as she straightened up in her seat, rubbing at her eyes with the back of one hand. "I didn't mean to doze off like that... The day really caught up to me."
Satoru sighed and put his phone away, turning to face you. He noticed how much your body language screamed exhaustion.
“Hey...you okay there? I know today was rough but don’t worry about it too much.”
His voice was soft, almost motherly in nature as he gently rubbed your back.
she wakes up I’m sorry if I annoyed you…
Satoru chuckled softly, his hand gently patting your head. “It’s alright. I don’t mind at all.” He said in a reassuring tone before standing up and stretching.
“Let’s get going home then, shall we?” Satoru suggested as he reached out to help you up. His blindfold still covered his eyes, but it was clear that even without sight, he could navigate just fine.
she shifts and places her head on your lap
Satoru smirked as he felt Grace's head shift from his shoulder to now resting on her lap. He gently placed a hand on top of her head, not moving it much so as not to disturb her sleep.
"Looks like you're really comfortable there." He chuckled softly before turning back to his phone, occasionally glancing down at the sleeping girl with amusement in his eyes and fondness in his expression.
The train continued its journey through the city, passing by various landmarks and neighborhoods that Satoru had grown familiar with during his time teaching at Tokyo Jujutsu High School. As they neared their stop, he could feel Grace starting to stir awake.
